Services Magazine chooses ECOWAY® to illustrate innovation at the Interclean 2014 exhibition
The Interclean exhibition,
a global showpiece for cleaning, takes place every two years in Amsterdam. It’s an opportunity for exhibitors to present their newest products.
This year, the trend is clear: innovative products take account of CSR (Corporate social responsibility).
It is no longer enough for products to just uphold the promise of cleanliness. Increasingly, moving forward, they must satisfy economic, environmental and social requirements:
Economic, because in a competitive market, ignoring prices is not an option!
Environmental, because consumers are more and more sensitive to environmental protection. This is reflected in increasing trends toward reduction of water and energy consumption, reduction in amounts of detergent used, and the replacement of toxic chemical substances with vegetable-based or biotechnological substances.
Finally, social, because behind cleaning, are the men and women doing the cleaning. Product creators today must work on ergonomics, comfort, and simplicity of use.
All without neglecting efficiency.
This is the analysis Services Magazine makes in its special issue dated May-June 2014.
And we are proud that the editorial staff chose cleaning products from our ECOWAY® line for the cover of this special edition. It makes sense, because ECOWAY®’s eco-friendly products typify responsiveness to environmental and social requirements: zero risk labelling, 6 products labeled ECOCERT and 5 products posting the European ECOLABEL; new packaging for greater clarity, and a cradle to cradle approach to design.
It’s clear that the future of cleaning demands greater awareness of environmental and social constraints. And this is excellent news for us.
